Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl 59 championship parade route and details

We're going green for Valentine's Day this year! And, there isn't a Philadelphia Eagles fan in the Delaware Valley or anywhere else on Planet Earth who doesn't know why that's the case.

Eagles Super Bowl parade Friday as celebration cleanup continues - WHYY

On Friday, February 14, the City of Philadelphia will host a parade for your Super Bowl 59 champions, our Birds — the Philadelphia Eagles.

Philly defeated the reigning two-time defending champions of pro football, the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Thanks to a 40-22 victory, the Birds stopped a possible three-peat. Another Lombardi Trophy has been delivered to the City of Brotherly Love.

Now, it's time to celebrate.

Let's toast to love for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles Super Bowl parade is scheduled for Friday, February 14. It begins at 11 AM. The team begins making their way down Broad Street with a starting point of Lincoln Financial Field on Pattison Ave.

The Eagles will then head north, towards City Hall. They continue their journey along the Ben Franklin Parkway. Jumbotrons will line the street making it easy for spectators to view the players and all of the coaches.

It's expected that the Birds will reach the Art Museum around 1 PM. A "formal program" and ceremonial speeches will begin at 2 PM. They are expected to last for about an hour.

The city is ready!

Celebrate with more than 1 million Eagles fans.

Approximately 1.4 million Eagles fans attended Philadelphia's 2018 Super Bowl parade. This year more guests are expected. With that in mind, there is a thorough plan in place for Friday.

The City of Philadelphia will enforce street closures. However, off-site parking lots and garages will be made available. Check out phila.gov for more information regarding specific road blocks. Fans can also text READYEAGLES to 888777 for the latest updates.

SEPTA services will run every 6-8 minutes. Tickets will be free thanks to Philly native and Eagles' fan Kevin Hart's tequila brand, Gran Coramino. Regional Rail lines and PATCO will also run on a modified schedule.

As of Tuesday, Philadelphia public schools will be closed on Friday. Select schools in the Philly suburbs and south Jersey have also followed suit. Schools, like the University of Pennsylvania are also hoping to see classes canceled.

In a sea of fans and expected cold weather, you'll still want to dress warm. Friday is expected to be sunny to partly cloudy, with a high of about 38 degrees. Get your Eagles gear ready!
