Philadelphia Eagles take deeper look at 'biggest sleeper' from the 2025 NFL Draft class

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McClane, the Eagles are hosting former Minnesota standout corner Justin Walley.

Walley enters the draft after racking up 42 tackles, including two tackles for loss, 10 passes defended, and two interceptions -- returning them for a total of 102 yards and one touchdown in 2024.

Throughout his four-year career with the Gophers, Walley logged 1,393 coverage snaps, allowing 104 receptions on 197 targets for 1,444 yards and eight touchdowns. On the flip side, he accumulated seven interceptions and defended 27 passes in 49 games.

Justin Walley is Considered the 2025 NFL Draft's Biggest Sleeper

Walley, who isn't projected to go off the draft board until Day 3, is considered the 2025 NFL Draft's biggest sleeper, according to A to Z Sports' NFL Draft analyst Tyler Forness.

Here's what Forness had to say about Walley and his exceptional ball skills:

There is one player who stands out to me as the biggest sleeper in this class, and it's a name you likely haven't heard: Minnesota cornerback Justin Walley.

Walley is a fourth-year senior out of Biloxi, Mississippi, who played significant snaps all four years for the Golden Gophers. A three-star recruit, Walley was very productive, especially on the ball.

The one thing that stood out more than anything is Walley's ball skills. He does a great job reading things in front of him and attacking the ball. What makes things really impressive with Walley is how quickly he moves his feet the second he sees something develop in front of him.

Although many projections have Walley being selected later in the draft, Forness strongly believes he has all the tools to be taken around pick 100, and considers him a potential "steal" for whichever team lands him.
