Dorit Kemsley wore a $7,000 dress to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 reunion, and the prices of Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton’s gowns were also revealed.
Throughout the season, Dorit and Kyle faced off despite their years-long friendship. One season earlier, Kyle and her sister Kathy were feuding, though they made up after Kyle revealed her split from husband Mauricio Umansky.
Now, both Dorit and Kyle are separated from their husbands, and many fans were disappointed that they couldn’t connect through the hardship. However, throughout the episodes, Dorit quickly became close with newbie castmate Boz Saint John.
According to Fashion Bomb Daily, Dorit’s reunion dress is a Vivienne Westwood, and it costs $7,160.
Meanwhile, Kyle’s Retrofete dress is $839.
Her sister Kathy’s Self-Portrait dress is worth $950.
In a March 19 interview for Interview Magazine, Dorit called out the way Kyle was speaking about their friendship.
“It was nasty. It was mean and it was really hurtful, and I think that’s why I had such strong emotions with regards to our friendship and my feelings about it, because it didn’t feel consistent with the friendship I’d been made to believe we shared,” said Dorit at the time, alluding to Kyle’s claim that they weren’t close.
“It was like, ‘Hello, I care about you, this is a real friendship for me. If it’s not for you, that’s okay, but don’t expect me to pretend that it’s a real friendship because right now I’m living very much in truth.’ And I think that resonated well with the audience,” said Dorit, who teased the status of their friendship after the reunion.
“After the reunion, there is absolutely no doubt which way we go,” she said.
As for the season itself, Dorit commented, “When you’re in a dark place and you emerge from that, you know you never want to go back there. You want to eliminate all of the toxic sh*t in your life, and you have to be strong and you have to be resilient and you have to be very clear and concise. And I think that’s what you saw this year … You’re navigating that alone, having ups and downs in your marriage and being on television.”
