Tight end MyCole Pruitt (knee), wide receiver Ben Skowronek (shoulder), and linebacker Tyler Matakevich (hamstring) will all be evaluated and are questionable for the team’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Head coach Mike Tomlin singled Matakevich out as someone who does not need to practice early in the week to play.

The most promising update the Steelers received was on left guard, Isaac Seumalo. He has missed the team’s first two games with a pectoral injury and has yet to practice since the injury two and half weeks ago. However, Tomlin says he is getting close and could return this week.

Quarterback Russell Wilson will not fully practice on Wednesday. His calf issue is still flaring up, and until it fully heals, the team seems steadfast to start Justin Fields.

Wide receiver Roman Wilson has missed the team’s first two games with an ankle injury, but Tomlin expects another uptick in his participation this week. He logged a full practice last Thursday, and the Steelers could give him a chance to play this week.
