The Lions built on their lead in the first half with a pick-six off Jordan Love, putting the Packers in a 17-3 deficit at halftime. Detroit continued their momentum after the break, extending their lead to 24-3.

Despite a strong fourth-quarter performance from the Packers, the game ended at 24-14. Many believed this matchup offered the perfect conditions for Green Bay to secure a crucial divisional and conference win, but the Lions demonstrated once again why this might be their year.

Both quarterbacks handled the challenging, rainy conditions well. Love completed 23 of 39 passes for 273 yards, although he struggled with a lower body injury that affected his mobility.

In contrast, Jared Goff was efficient, going 18 of 22 for 145 yards and one touchdown. The Lions leaned heavily on their running game, with David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs combining for over 120 rushing yards.

With this victory, the Lions now hold a two-game lead over the Packers in the division and a 1.5-game lead over the Vikings, who are set to play on "Sunday Night Football." Green Bay will visit Detroit again on "Thursday Night Football" on December 5th in a highly anticipated rematch.
