In other news T.J. Oshie's future stil remains unclear and per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News, the team is still waiting on word upon whether or not Oshie will be ready.

Chris Patrick noted to NHL.com's Tom Gulitti:

""It's still kind of up in the air. I think training camp is kind of our timeline to see where he's at.""

- Chris Patrick

The key date for Oshie will be September 18 when the veterans do physicals and off ice testing prior to on ice sessions. It is also possible that he could join the team for informal skates to feel things out but he has not been skating at MCI quite yet although more players trickle into town each day as the season draws near.
