Bachelor Nation got to know Rachael Kirkconnell on Season 25 of “The Bachelor,” where she found love with Matt James.
Earlier this year, Matt revealed that the two had unfortunately broken up after dating for four years, and Rachael later shared it was because they ultimately wanted different things.
Since their split, Rachael has been keeping fans updated with her life and various adventures online.
And now, the Bachelor Nation star is dishing about her dating life and revealing whether she would ever want to become the Bachelorette.
In an exclusive interview with the New York Post, Rachael shared that she’s open to the idea of being the Bachelorette because she's ready to find love.
“Never say never. But I think right now, when I think about that, I would really have to consider if that would be the right move for me,” she expressed. “Because I am looking for my person, and I am excited to date whenever that day comes. When I’m ready for it.”
Rachael also admitted that it could be a potential challenge for her to go back to that environment and have a limited number of guys to date.
She said, “The idea of it being in that environment and having only a small group of men to date and to see if they’re my person and I’m theirs, it’s just a tough thing.”
However, the Bachelor Nation star did share that she believes the process can work and knows many successful couples who met through the show.
“Of course it works,” she said. “I know so many couples right now that are so happy and they never would have met each other if they had not gone on the show. I think it would be just a very, very, very long discussion and a very long process of really thinking if that was good for me or not.”
We always love hearing from Rachael and seeing her do what makes her happy. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!
