Walking Dead' Cast Reunion Has Fans Saying the Same Thing - Parade

While The Walking Dead captivated viewers for a staggering eleven seasons, it's safe to say that the show's early cast members were some of the most beloved of the series — so fans are always curious to see what the stars who played their favorite characters are up to now. Still, a rare reunion in Paris left some social media users disappointed...for an understandable reason.

In a video shared to TikTok this week filmed at the recent "From Atlanta to Paris" convention in France, a group of former TWD cast members — including Michael CudlitzLaurie HoldenAlanna MastersonSarah Wayne CalliesChandler Riggs and Josh McDermitt — posed for a group photo, making heart shapes with their hands and smiling broadly.

While many commenters were thrilled to see the familiar faces back together, others complained about the absence of the actors who played some of the main characters, particularly Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Carol (Melissa McBride), Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan).

"Dooont care where's Rick," one person wrote, with another demanding, "Where's Rick, Daryl, Shane, Glenn, Maggie, Carol, Negan, and Judith??!!"

"A meet without Norman, Andrew, Lauren, Melissa, Danai and Jeffrey should be a crime," someone else declared.

Some loyal followers were content with the stars who did show up, however.

"Never been so jealous in my life," somebody admitted.

In a recent interview with Scenestr, Riggs (who played Carl, the eventually one-eyed son of Rick Grimes) opened up about why he makes appearances at fan conventions.

"We're so lucky that we all got to be a part of this incredible franchise," the 25-year-old said, adding, "I have a stand-out moment at almost every convention, and I've done a lot of conventions. The most incredible thing is when people tell me about how my character has impacted their personal life, whether it helped them get through a hard time in their life, or inspired them to take a leap. It always reminds me why I do what I do!"

Riggs went on to call TWD the "absolute best experience I could've ever asked for growing up."

"It was the coolest thing in the world to get to go work on such an awesome show, then go to school and be a normal kid the next day," he said. "I really got the best of both worlds – absorbing an insane amount of valuable knowledge from the best of the best, while still getting to grow up in a normal household and play video games with my friends on the weekends."
