RHOBH star Garcelle Beauvais admits it hasn’t been easy for Kyle Richards to watch her ex-husband Mauricio Umansky moving on.
“It’s hard seeing people go through things and it’s so public, that’s really hard to watch. I feel for Kyle, for sure. And it’s hard seeing pictures of [your ex moving on] even if you don’t want them back,” Garcelle Beauvais tells Us Weekly. “Even if you don’t want someone back, it’s hard to see them moving on. And so that was hard for all of us.”
Although Kyle and Mauricio have yet to file for divorce officially, the RHOBH couple formally split in July of 2023. Mauricio officially moved out of his and Kyle’s shared home in May 2024 and settled into a luxury condo in Hollywood. In July, the real estate mogul was photographed kissing 33-year-old Nakita Kahn at the airport in Mykonos, Greece.
Just over the weekend, the new couple was photographed walking along the beach at the One&Only Mandarina, Mexico, before hopping into the ocean for a PDA-packed dip. When in the water, Mauricio Umansky and Nakita got very close and wrapped their arms around each other.
Meanwhile, Garcelle notes that Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s split isn’t the only breakup affecting the RHOBH cast throughout season 14. Dorit Kemsley and her husband, Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley, separated in May after nine years of marriage.
Garcelle noted to Us Weekly that these days, most of the women of RHOBH are “all single now.”
“We’re going to have to rebrand,” she quipped.
The actress-turned-reality TV star also teased that RHOBH’s upcoming 14th season, which has yet to get a premiere date, will be one of the best seasons the franchise has ever had.
“This is the most excited I am [for a season] since I’ve been on [the show]. I think it’s dynamic, I think it’s explosive. Different relationships shift, but I think overall, it’s really good.”
