RHOBH’s Jennifer Tilly Pays Emotional Tribute to Michael Madsen

Actor Michael Madsen passed away on Thursday at the age of 67. His death brought on a wave of condolences and tribute from friends and co-stars alike. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Jennifer Tilly was among the celebrities who paid tribute to Michael. She posted a sweet message on social media about how much she enjoyed their time together.

Michael wasn’t just an actor. He was also a poet and photographer too. He collaborated regularly with Quentin Tarantino and appeared in films like Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs. His sister Virgina Madsen was among the first to share about his passing saying he was “thunder and velvet. A poet disguised as an outlaw.”

The news of Michael’s death hit Jennifer hard too. The actress, who first appeared on Season 14 of RHOBH, appeared with Michael in the film The Getaway which also starred Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger.

Jennifer posted a still of her and Michael from the film with an emotional and sweet caption dedicated to her friend and colleague.

“Michael was one of my favorite actors I ever worked with,” she wrote in her heartfelt caption. “The Getaway was very early in my career and he made me feel safe and supported. He was wildly audacious and rambunctious with his character choices, and had a wicked sense of humor. I don’t recall ever laughing so much on a film set in my life. A huge talent. Gone too soon.”

And she isn’t the only one going to miss his humor, Virginia also mentioned she would miss their “inside jokes and sudden laughter.” It seems like Michael had a way of making people around him smile.

As for Jennifer, she made quite the splash on RHOBH last season and is already teasing a powder keg Season 15 ahead with new drama and new cast members in the wake of Garcelle Beauvais’ departure. One of the new faces will be stylist Rachel Zoe.
