Things are getting more complicated in the divorce between Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley and her estranged husband, PK Kemsley.
What started off as a quiet, amicable announcement of their separation is seemingly unfolding into an ugly battle — with new court documents revealing that PK isn’t willing to bend to Dorit’s requests.
PK Kemsley and Dorit Kemsley’s Divorce Takes a Bitter Turn
According to filings obtained exclusively by Page Six, PK is pushing for joint custody of their two kids, Jagger, 11, and Phoenix, 9. That’s a direct response to Dorit’s initial request for sole custody. He’s also asked the court to terminate Dorit’s request for spousal support — and waived his right to it as well.
PK has also requested that both parties pay their own legal fees and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the official reason for the divorce. The couple reportedly does not have a prenuptial agreement. Oof.
Dorit filed for divorce on April 25, just days after PK was seen making out with Amazing Race alum Shana Wall — a PDA moment that quickly made headlines. The couple had only recently announced their separation in May 2024, following nine years of marriage.
Behind the scenes, cracks in their relationship were already showing. During Season 14 of RHOBH, Dorit opened up about feeling emotionally neglected. She also criticized his parenting, revealing, “There are times that I think PK’s the greatest father in the world. But is he the most hands-on father? The truth is, no.”
PK, now sober, said he was hurt by how Dorit portrayed him on the show, calling her words “heartbreaking and false.”
Their finances have also been under pressure. The couple faced tax issues and nearly lost their $8 million Encino home to foreclosure.
Season 15 should be interesting and, hopefully, will provide more insight into the disintegration of their civility. Maybe we’ll also find out who gets Boy George in the divorce.
Reps for both PK and Dorit haven’t publicly commented on the legal back-and-forth.
