Injuries were pretty tough on the New Orleans Saints a season ago. Many veterans missed notable time, including Pete Werner, Derek Carr, Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and others.
Many players will be at full strength to begin next season, but we have not gotten too much clarity on some players who had their season finish before they would have liked in 2024.
Latest on Saints TE Foster Moreau
The veteran tight end had his season end a bit early last year in early January. Moreau suffered a serious knee injury. That ailment unfortunately ended his campaign.
Now, the Saints' social media team gave us a bit of an unintended update on his recovery. He got some work in with the community recently in an event with Tabasco hot sauce.
Moreau is in good spirits. In the pictures. he is not on crutches. There is no noticeable brace or wrap on his leg, that may point to some continue rehab he's doing for the knee issue. Instead, he looks healthy. Great news for he and the offense for New Orleans.
We will most likely get an update on his season-ending injury later this offseason, but this was a nice sigh to see for the Saints tight end.
New Orleans recently extended Juwan Johnson on a three-year deal. He figures to be the other main TE in the offense alongside Moreau for the Saints next season.
It'll be intriguing to see Moreau's role for Kellen Moore. He has not been afraid to deploy many plays using two of them at the same time.
