The New Orleans Saints were the most battered team in the NFL this past season. In fact, the Saints were the most injury-riddled team in recent league history.
Taysom Hill, WRs Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, CB Paulson Adebo, and C Erik McCoy missed more than half the season with injuries. Quarterback Derek Carr missed seven starts.
The Saints also didn't have their starting five offensive line together for 13 of 17 games. Several other players, including RB Alvin Kamara, also missed significant time as the team stumbled to a 5-12 record.

Rath, 41, was with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2020 through 2023 as their Director of Sports Performance. Prior to that, he was with the Los Angeles Rams as Director of strength, training, and performance from 2017 to 2019.
Rath has also served as an assistant strength and training coach with the Miami Dolphins (2016) and Detroit Lions (2009-2015). Most famously known as Sean McVay's 'get back coach' with the Rams, Rath's teams have had success at all of his stops.
During his 15-year NFL career, Rath has been on the staff of eight playoff teams and two conference championships. He's also authored an Amazon best-seller book titled 'Beyond Comfort: Mastering a Growth Mindset with Excellence Through Urgency'.
Ted Rath joins a new Saints staff that so far includes:
Kellen Moore (head coach)
Scott Tolzien (quarterbacks)
Joel Thomas (running backs)
Keith Williams (wide receivers)
Chase Haslett (tight ends)
Brendan Nugent (offensive line)
T.J. Paganetti (run game specialist)
Phil Galiano (special teams)
Expect New Orleans to continue adding to their coaching staff through the rest of the week, especially on the defensive side.
