Saints are hosting an offensive lineman this week on a free agent visit.

The New Orleans Saints have their first big free agent visit of the offseason.

As first reported by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the team is hosting offensive lineman Dillon Radunz this week. He has been with the Tennessee Titans since 2021, starting 15 games at right guard for their offense in 2024. He finished with 903 snaps. The former second-round pick (54th overall) has also visited the Seattle Seahawks.

Radunz will turn 27 at the end of the month. According to Pro Football Focus, he gave up 6 sacks (125th), 23 pressures (88th), 2 QB hits (67th) while turning in a 57.0 overall grade (91st out of 135). He was stronger in pass protection, earning a 63.9 grade (58th). The run-blocking grade was 111th at a 53.6 grade.

It's hardly a secret that the Saints need a left guard for Kellen Moore's offense. There are no plans of them shifting Trevor Penning inside, and Cesar Ruiz looks to stay at right guard next to Erik McCoy. Nick Saldiveri could be an option New Orleans looks at again, but injuries along the line hurt the team last season. Lucas Patrick, who also started there last year, has had two visits of his own now.

With Brendan Nugent returning, the offensive line can hopefully take a step forward in 2025. Radunz was one of the players I thought could be a nice consolation prize for the Saints when looking at potential free agent targets they could use the nearly $30 million in cap space on.

Mekhi Becton was obviously the biggest target when free agency opened, and Teven Jenkins just signed with the Cleveland Browns. Brandon Scherff and Will Hernandez were my other two suggestions.
