The Tennessee Titans have ushered in a new era under first-year general manager Mike Borgonzi. The longtime Kansas City Chiefs executive is turning the page for the franchise, which means that many of the pieces from the Titans' three-win season last year will not be returning to the team.
Borgonzi already released star edge rusher Harold Landry to begin the offseason and let several other starters from last year walk out the door in free agency as well. On Monday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that the New Orleans Saints were signing former Titans second-round pick Dillon Radunz, an offensive guard who started 15 games for Tennessee last season.
Radunz was selected with the No. 53 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by then-general manager Jon Robinson and head coach Mike Vrabel. In his four years with the franchise, he never had an entirely healthy season, but he played in 54 games and started 31.
He began his career as a tackle before being kicked inside to guard, where he started 26 games over the last two years, including 15 in 2024. He played more and more snaps each season, including 95% of the team's offensive snaps last year, but Borgonzi clearly thought he could get an upgrade over Radunz. Now, the 26-year-old lineman will head to New Orleans where he'll attempt to re-establish himself and revitalize his career.
