The San Francisco 49ers have multiple needs in the 2025 NFL draft, including defensive tackle, offensive line, and pass rush.

Notable Free Agency Additions: TE Luke Farrell (JAX), WR Demarcus Robinson (LAR), QB Mac Jones (JAX), S Richie Grant (ATL), CB Siran Neal (MIA)

Round 1 – Pick 11 – Mykel Williams, Defensive End, Georgia

The San Francisco 49ers opted to restock their defensive line with Mykel Williams.

John Lynch desperately needed to add pass rushers to replenish the line, with Nick Bosa almost left standing alone on the depth chart. The turnover at the position has been heavy in the past couple of years, and the Niners were unable to add a prolific rusher in free agency.

Williams had 17 sacks and 11 quarterback hits in his three seasons with the Georgia Bulldogs, and now gets to learn from one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.
