After six memorable years with the New York Giants, Saquon Barkley decided to move on to greener pastures during the offseason. This came in the form of a massive $37.8 million, three-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, which is a staggering amount that the Giants weren't able to bring to the table.
Barkley has since put that money to good use by purchasing a $3.9 million mansion in Malvern, Pennsylvania, which is roughly 30 miles outside Philadelphia.
According to a report by realtor.com, Barkley's new home has a floor area of 10,000 square feet, and features six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It was reportedly built in 2017 and sits on a five-acre property.
Photos of the lavish estate are currently trending on social media, and they quickly grabbed the attention of fans on Instagram.
As the post indicates, Barkley's new home also includes a saltwater pool and hot tub, a home theater and a private gym, among other luxury features.
"Magnificent estate! Perfection " a comment on Instagram read.
"Very luxurious and classy home " read another.
"So beautiful " a fan reacted.
"Him and his girls deserve the world " declared a user.
"Love the interior design " wrote another.
"Best home ever," commented a fan.
Barkley, who was recently named the 2024 AP Offensive Player of the Year, will have more time to enjoy his new home now that the NFL season has ended.
The 28-year-old now comes home as a Super Bowl champion after helping lead the Eagles to a dominant 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the big game. Barkley logged 25 carries in the game for 57 yards, along with six receptions for an additional 40 yards.
Barkley recently declared that their Super Bowl LIX victory is just the start of the Eagles' "dynasty." The All-Pro running back has made it clear that he is intent on doing everything he can to repay Philadelphia for their substantial investment in him.
