The Seattle Seahawks are looking at another New Orleans Saints coach for their offense.

Seahawks Targeting Well-Respected New Orleans Saints Coach Rick Dennison

According to a Wednesday afternoon report by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, the Saints have given Senior Offensive Assistant Rick Dennison permission to speak to Seattle.

The #Saints have given permission for Senior Offensive Assistant Rick Dennison to speak to the #Seahawks, per me and @MikeGarafolo .

Dennison, a respected assistant, came to New Orleans with Klint Kubiak and is expected to join him in Seattle if the sides can find a deal now that Kellen Moore is the Saints coach.

Dennison joined Dennis Allen's staff last offseason in mid-February and worked extensively with fullback Adam Prentice in training camp. He also helped in other areas with the offense to help support Klint Kubiak and company.

The Seahawks have already plucked Klint Kubiak (offensive coordinator), Andrew Janocko (quarterbacks) and John Benton (offensive line) from New Orleans, so it makes sense. They were effective together, even if the Saints didn't win a ton of games. It's fun to watch them operate in person.

New head coach Kellen Moore will be given full authority to fill out his coaching staff, and we expect some Philadelphia Eagles assistants to come to New Orleans. Moore speaks for the first time on Thursday in the Saints introductory press conference.
