Bachelor Nation fan-favorite couple Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Lowe famously found love and got married after Season 17 of “The Bachelor.”

Bachelor' alum Sean Lowe attacked twice in 12 hours by rescue dog, says he fought for his life amid pool of blood

Since their time on the show, they’ve welcomed three children into their family: Samuel, Isaiah, and Mia.

Earlier this year, the Lowes welcomed a new family member, their dog Moose, into their crew.

But last month, their family experienced a terrifying series of incidents where Moose violently attacked Sean.

We previously covered Sean’s video in which he detailed the attack where he recalls “fighting for his life” as their family dog “ripped through the flesh” of his arms.

Now, around a month later, Sean is sharing an update on how he’s been healing.

In a series of Instagram Stories with his 6-year-old son Isaiah by his side, Sean said, “I’m doing great. A lot of you have asked how I’m doing. I’m doing great. I’m healing; my scars aren’t as bad as I thought they would be.”

He held up his arm to show how his scars and said, “Isaiah likes to kiss this one here. The doctor told me that one is, that’s about as good as it’s gonna get. It’s kinda red. It won’t be red forever, but I’ll have a cool scar there forever.”

Sean thanked his followers for their kind messages after sharing the “traumatic” experience.

The former Bachelor said, “We got thousands and thousands of messages, just people wishing me well and sharing similar stories and things like that, but anyway, thank you, because I could just tell it was sincere and heartfelt.”

Isaiah also chimed in and said, “Thank you for talking to my daddy and saying nice things.”

We are continuing to send the Lowe family lots of love as Sean heals and they recover from this very scary experience.
