Season 2 of CBS' Chicago Fire Replacement Show Lands on Netflix Next Month

Season 2 of the CBS action drama Fire Country is coming to Netflix on August 1st. Created by Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan, and Joan Rater, the series also stars Thieriot as Bode Donovan, a convict who tries to better himself by joining the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and becoming a volunteer firefighter.

Currently, Fire Country consists of three seasons, with a fourth on the way. Fans of the CBS firefighter drama, Chicago Fire, may have made note of the similarities between the series; however, Fire Country sets itself apart from other series thanks to its small-town setting and focus on family drama.

What is Known About Season 4

The most recent season of Fire Country wrapped up on April 25th, leaving on a major cliffhanger. With the fates of many characters up in the air, fans will be relieved to hear Season 4 is coming soon and will air alongside the spinoff show Sheriff Country.

Besides the confirmation of returning cast members, including Kevin Alejandro, Jordan Calloway, Diane Farr, and series newcomer Jared Padalecki, not much is known about the plot of Season 4. In an interview, Thieriot would reveal that, "As far as what is going to happen specifically at this point, I don't know. We're just opening the writers' room, so we haven't gotten that far. I know that everybody's really focused on finding out."

In the second season of Fire Country,"The station 42 crew must protect Edgewater and take cover when an extremely rare and dangerous fire tornado leaves lives in peril."

Season 2 of Fire Country will stream on Netflix starting on Aug. 1. The first season of the TV show is currently streaming on the platform. Season 4 will be on TV this fall.
