Tennis legend Serena Williams updated her fans about her activities beyond sports on Instagram, which include launching a podcast channel with her sister Venus Williams.
The 23-time Grand Slam winner joins a slew of fellow pro athletes who are building major audiences through digital media ventures and personal content platforms.
At an event in France for Sport Beach 2025, she announced the target platform and release date for the podcast. Together with X CEO Linda Yaccarino, she revealed that it will air exclusively on X this coming fall.
“I was on stage with @lindayacc at Sports Beach to announce my new video podcast with @venuswilliams for #X Launching this fall. Stay tuned!! It’s about to get really real,” she captioned.
Fans appear to be in full support of the tennis icon’s new activity.
“Soooooo excited!!!! So proud of you two. The only two female athletes I care about,” one wrote.
“Can’t wait,” a fan said.
A follower echoed the same sentiment and added, “Looking forward to this!”
Besides her personal announcement, fans couldn't help but notice the retired tennis champion’s stunning appearance.
“How exciting— you are getting even more beautiful,” a supporter noted.
“Snatched queen from all angles,” a commenter remarked.
Another fan added, “This makeup is beautiful on you.”
The news was first announced June 10 on X, with the channel being named "Unfiltered Truth."
The show will showcase candid conversations between the iconic sisters as they build a space where they will share “personal stories, have authentic conversations, spotlight important topics and laugh a lot,” as mentioned in a joint statement shared by Tennis.com.
Beyond hosting the podcast, Serena Williams’ multimedia production company, Nine Two Six Productions, will also produce the show.
