Significant Update Emerges On Possible Blockbuster Trade Of Raiders Superstar WR Davante Adams To The New York Jets

Amid speculation of a Davante Adams trade, we are now getting a major update from an insider who knows where he will be headed.

Davante Adams in Raiders gear

Adams would welcome catching passes from Aaron Rodgers again, but he insisted that he was happy with the Raiders last month.

New York Jets insider Connor Hughes thinks he would be happier elsewhere as he was recently asked about the Adams to the Jets rumors.

Hughes made it clear that if the Las Vegas Raiders announce that Davante Adams is up for a trade, he will be headed to the New York Jets.

“The minute that the Raiders are willing to trade him, I believe he’ll be a Jet,” Hughes said.

The 31-year-old six-time Pro Bowler has been connected to the Jets for months, but nothing has materialized.

Aaron Rodgers has been very vocal about his desire to play with Adams again, with the wideout himself stating that he would be interested in reuniting with his former quarterback.

Despite the fact that nothing has happened yet, there is still a chance that Davante Adams could end up with the Jets, and now that Insider just proved that something might be happening behind the scenes.

Davante Adams Previously Stated He Would Love To Play With Aaron Rodgers Again

Davante Adams is not pushing for a trade, but he has made it clear he would love to play with Aaron Rodgers again.

Adams addressed the trade rumors on an episode of Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast released last month, which came one day after his agents issued a statement denying that any trade talks were taking place.

“Well, I’ll answer it like this: If I’m gonna be reunited with anybody, it would be Aaron — or relocated and be anywhere, it’d be with Aaron,” Adams said. “But that’s not really my — there was a lot of that stuff going on last year in the media and them asking, ‘What are you gonna do about this? Are you thinking about going here?’ And they talk about whatever without me even being involved in it.

“And it ended up getting all the way to the point where it got in the locker room, and people was thinking that I was the driving force, and I’m like, y’all just don’t understand, man. When you — and I hate to say it like this because it makes me sound like I’m trying to put myself on a pedestal — but when you’re a certain level of player, it don’t have to come from you, and oftentimes it’s not coming from you.”
