The official Star Trek Instagram and Paramount+ unveiled eye-popping new posters of the cast of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (photos by Sarah Coulter), paired up after beaming onto the series' namesake 'strange new worlds.' Paired up together are Captain Pike and Number One (Rebecca Romijn), Scotty (Martin Quinn) and Commander Pelia (Carol Kane), Dr. Joseph M'Benga (Babs Olusanmokun) and Lt. La'an Noonien-Singh (Christina Chong), Nurse Christine Chapel (Jess Bush) and Lt. Spock (Ethan Peck), and Ensign Nyota Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding) and Lt. Erica Ortegas (Melissa Navia).

What Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3's Cast Posters Mean

Who's Who On The Starship Enterprise In Strange New Worlds Season 3

Star Trek Strange New Worlds season 3 poster

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 is bringing back the beloved crew of the Starship Enterprise with a new addition: Martin Quinn is a series regular as Lt. Montgomery Scott, AKA Scotty, and joins Carol Kane's Commander Pelia in Engineering. In Scotty and Pelia's poster, their PADD has been grabbed by zombies, which is a possible hint of a Strange New Worlds season 3 episode plot. The command duo of Captain Pike and Lt. Commander Una Chin-Riley is a natural pairing, as are best friends Ortegas and Uhura (with longer hair, indicating a time jump in Strange New Worlds season 3).

Perhaps the most compelling poster is Nurse Chapel and Spock because Christine has a tear running down her cheek. Does this hint at a heartbreak in the love triangle between Spock, Chapel, and Dr. Roger Korby (Cillian O'Sullivan)? Meanwhile, Dr. M'enga and La'an are paired up in a futuristic city setting. L'aan and M'Benga are both veterans of Star Trek: Discovery's Klingon War and had a memorable mission on Rigel VII in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2, so maybe they are a team once again in season 3.
