In just under an hour the Pittsburgh Steelers will face off against bitter AFC North rival Baltimore in a highly-anticipated playoff clash.
Ahead of the showdown, head coach Mike Tomlin addressed his inability to bring his regular season success into the postseason. He made it clear that the team's eight year drought without a playoff win remains his alone.
"What you mentioned is my story," Tomlin told reporters after practice earlier this week about the streak of playoff losses. "It's not this collective's story. Many of these guys involved do not tote those bags. I happily tote those bags, but it's not something that I'm going to project on the collective.
As Tomlin hopes to put the losing record behind him, the road to victory against the Ravens got a bit more difficult on Saturday night. Starting offensive lineman Mason McCormick was attempting to fight through a broken hand to play against the Ravens on Saturday night.
Unfortunately for the Steelers, McCormick won't be able to go. The rookie offensive lineman was one of those listed inactive for tonight's game.
"OL Mason McCormick (broken hand) is INACTIVE. Maryland product Spencer Anderson next man up to start at right guard," ESPN's Brooke Pryor revealed.
He was initially listed as questionable heading into Saturday night's game, but clearly wasn't able to get right in time for the game. Baltimore enters the game as a heavy favorite, even without Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers, who suffered a knee injury in the final week of the regular season against the Cleveland Browns.
Baltimore and Pittsburgh kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
