The Pittsburgh Steelers are just hours away from playing their third game in the past 11 days, like the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs, who will all be on the field this Christmas.
The quick turnaround from Saturday's contests between the four teams didn't leave much time for the losing teams to lick their wounds. Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson made that clear following the team's 34-17 loss to the Ravens over the weekend.
"We play on Wednesday," Wilson said after the game on Saturday, via ESPN. "I don't think there's enough time to really sulk or worry or fear. ... The one thing I'm not going to do is keep my head down, though. I know for us we got so much great confidence in who we are and what we can do and how we're going to respond.
"We can't let a tough game like this take us into a negative state of mind because there's a lot more to play for and a lot more we're searching for, and we can still win the [AFC] North. There's still a lot of opportunity there, too, as well. And so we just got to buckle down and get back to work."
Unfortunately for the Steelers, Christmas morning came with some unfortunate news. Backup quarterback Justin Fields has been nursing an injury and is unlikely to play on Wednesday afternoon, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
"Justin Fields (abdominal) is unlikely to play and will most likely serve as the third (emergency) QB today. He could be back next week," Rapoport said.

- #Chiefs star DT Chris Jones is not expected to play today against the #Steelers just a week after tweaking his calf, source said.
- #Steelers QB Justin Fields (abdominal) is unlikely to play and will most likely serve as the third (emergency) QB…
While Fields has played second fiddle since Wilson took over after a 4-2 start to the season, he's been involved in the game plan every weekend.
With Fields unlikely to play, Kyle Allen will have to be ready to go if something happens to Wilson on Wednesday afternoon.
