Now if you're wondering why this feat won't receive the credit it deserves, it's because the kick occurred during the preseason instead of the regular season, meaning it won't go down in the history books.

The regular-season NFL record will still belong to former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker at 66 yards. That doesn't take away from this mind-blowing feat, however. If you were watching the broadcast, you probably heard Jaguars color analyst Bucky Brooks almost laugh off the attempt before Little settled in.

And how could you blame him? A 70-yard field goal seemed otherworldly prior to just a few minutes ago. But here's whats even crazier: if you watch that kick, it would have been good from 73, maybe even 75 yards.

Chris Boswell, who is also in the news for an entirely different reason, has a career-long of 59 yards by comparison. A first team All-Pro and Pro Bowler, there is a lot more to kicking than just booming the ball, but Little also hit it straight from the distance, which can't go without notice.

Everyone in that stadium and throughout the world watching that kick probably didn't believe it at first. That's why the kick happening in the preseason is a bummer for the Jaguars, but Pittsburgh won't be doing any complaining.

So the Steelers were on the receiving end, and the kick will live in infamy for a while, but unfortunately for Little and the rest of the Jaguars, it won't exactly count in the history books.

I doubt we see the last of that kind of kick from Little, however.
