Steelers QB Russell Wilson Makes 'Bet' With Wife Ciara Before Ravens Game

The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16. While the Steelers defeated Baltimore 18-16 last month, the Ravens are considered nearly seven-point favorites to win on Dec. 21.

Russell Wilson Joked He Has Simple Rebuttal for Ciara When Pressed on Late Film Study

If Pittsburgh can pull off an upset at M&T Bank Stadium, the Steelers will clinch the NFC North title, leaving Lamar Jackson and Co. fighting for a wild card playoff spot.

While Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson will be without his No. 1 wide receiver George Pickens for a third straight game, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith isn't looking for excuses.

"I think sometimes people fall into that victimhood of complaining and whining," Smith told reporters. "That ball is kicking off at 4:30, whatever time on Saturday, and we got to go win. We've got to be better at the things we can all do."

While Wilson is locked in, he couldn't help but comment on his wife Ciara's Instagram post on Friday night.

Ciara captioned her post on the eve before the Steelers-Ravens showdown, "I Bet. My odds are 10 to 1. 🏆." Wilson commented, "I’ll take that Bet all day."

While the 36-year-old quarterback can't gamble on the game, doubling-down on his wife of eight years is a safe bet. Wilson and "Goodies" singer share four children together, and the family regularly attends his Steelers matchups.

While this is the former Super Bowl champ's first season with the Steelers, the couple didn't hesitate in making an impact in the Pittsburgh Community.

Before the Steelers lost to the Eagles in Week 15, Wilson and the R&B star announced in a joint statement, "We launched our 1st ever “WHY NOT YOU Center” today at the Boys & Girls Club in Pittsburgh! Our @WhyNotYouFDN is so proud! A dream come true! GRATEFUL! 🖤💛 @Ciara #WhyNotYou."

During the latest episode of HBO's Hard Knocks: In Season, which follows the AFC North teams, cameras followed Wilson during the Why Not You Foundation's event. When a young fan asked Wilson if he liked playing for the Steelers, “Yeah, I love it. It’s awesome,” he answered.

As for whether he wants to re-sign with the franchise, “Hopefully, I love it here. It’s cool. Hopefully we’re going to win a Super Bowl.”
