Steelers Reportedly Set To Take On Aaron Rodgers And The New York Jets In Big Week 7 Sunday Night Football Contest

The Pittsburgh Steelers will know by the end of the day on Wednesday which teams will be played when on the 2024 schedule. Some leaks have already started to come out, including one indicating Mike Tomlin and co. will take on Arthur Smith's former team, the Atlanta Falcons, in Week 1 on the road. There have also been murmurs of the team playing a Christmas Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Early on Wednesday morning, the most recent leak came out regarding the Steelers.

Steelers được cho là sẽ đối đầu với Aaron Rodgers và New York Jets trong cuộc thi bóng đá tối Chủ nhật Tuần 7 lớn

Matt O'Leary, a YouTube personality and podcaster, reported on social media that, via a source, he knows the entire schedule for the New York Jets. He has Pittsburgh hosting the Jets and Aaron Rodgers on Sunday Night Football in Week 7.

There is a lot of hype surrounding the Jets as Rodgers prepares to return from a devastating Achilles injury that occurred during Week 1 of the 2023 campaign. The leak provides good news for Steelers fans, as a primetime home game already seems to be in the cards, with more potentially on the way. Tomlin and co. typically thrive under the lights in primetime matchups.

The Jets will look extremely different in 2024, just as the Steelers are expected to. Aside from Rodgers couple of snaps in Week 1 of 2023, both Pittsburgh and New York will be having new faces at the quarterback position. By Week 7, who knows if the Steelers will be starting Russell Wilson or Justin Fields? Regardless, it is bound to be a game of meaning as both franchises should be competitive in 2024.

Steelers Have Tall Task Ahead With 2024 Schedule

Pittsburgh doesn't have an easy slate to say the least. With one of the tougher schedules in the league (based on 2023 winning percentage), it can be skewed even worse given the fact that the Jets are a much better team with Rodgers at quarterback than they were a year ago. Every game matters, especially in-conference, so it is a big deal to supposedly be hosting New York on Sunday Night Football.
