Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium Looked Totally Unrecognizable During Sold Out Savannah Bananas Game

You cannot stop the Savannah Bananas; you can only hope to contain them.

Raymond James Stadium for Savannah Bananas baseball game.

The Bananas did something in a football stadium that many MLB teams couldn’t do inside their own ballpark for the upcoming year.

A full crowd filled Raymond James Stadium, home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to watch the Savannah Bananas on Saturday night.

Raymond James Stadium has a capacity of 65,000 but can be expanded to 75,000.

The Bananas’ interest has officially reached a new level as they not only played Saturday night in Tampa Bay at Raymond James Stadium but also packed the place out for one of the most obscure field dimensions ever seen.

The home plate was placed in a corner, and no temporary walls were placed in the outfield.

The best part was the Savannah Bananas sharing a time-lapse video of the grounds crew getting the stadium ready.

As for the actual game, DR Meadows hit a walk-off grand slam, giving the Bananas the win 11-10.

The electrifying game is yet another instance of how popular the team has become after being founded in 2016.

The 225th game in Banana Ball history marked the first one ever played in an NFL stadium and they sold out the event.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers star offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs was in attendance as a special guest.

Wirfs was involved as he made his entrance, ripped off his shirt, and flexed his muscles.
