Teddi Mellencamp Debuts "Fresh" Hair Color Transformation Amid Divorce (PHOTOS)

Teddi took to her Instagram earlier this week where she revealed that she was at the hair salon. In the photos, Teddi can be seen sitting in the salon chair, with her head leaning in the sink, as her hair stylist applied product directly to her roots. 

"Here we go," she said in the video, as her stylist scrubbed at her scalp, and applied the products to the end of her hair. "Doing all the things. A shampoo bowl is so overrated."

Once her hair was fully dried, Teddi showed off the beautiful, icy blonde color, styled into waves. It's bright, new, and so perfectly Teddi. "Thank you for the fresh blonde," she wrote over the photo, tagging the stylist who helped her achieve the amazing results.

Before debuting a much brighter blonde look, Teddi took to her Instagram account in January, where she showed off her honey-blonde hair, with a slightly darker root. .

This longer hair look comes on the heels of Teddi's sleek bob that she sported back in November 2024. She took to Instagram on Nov. 13, where she showed off her hair, chopped a little bit below her shoulders.

Although blonde has come to be Teddi's hair color of choice lately, she has changed things up over the past few years. In 2023, Teddi revealed that she had dyed her full head of hair a light pastel pink.

 

Two years earlier, Teddi had turned to the "dark side," opting to dye her hair a cooler-toned, ash-brown color, with lighter pieces framing her face. "It was time for a change...went to the dark side," Teddi wrote in the caption of the November 2021 Instagram post, where she debuted the new look.

Teddi took to one of her podcasts, Diamonds in the Rough, on Jan. 25, where she revealed what she has been doing in her day-to-day activities since announcing her divorce in November. "I pod every day, so I'm always working," Teddi explained. "And, it sounds crazy, but I've gone on a couple of dates. Yes."

But, things have been hard for her, too. During a Feb. 6 episode of the podcast, she admitted that she has been mourning the loss of her marriage as well: "When you're going through divorce or there's grief or whatever, like some weeks you really feel like on top of the world and some weeks you're just so freaking low."
