Teddi Mellencamp Dishes on Unaired Scene on RHOBH That Made Her Want to “Die”

As fans of RHOBH know, Teddi joined the show for season eight and remained a housewife through season 10. As is often the case, the reason Teddi was fired from the show is unknown. However, most think it’s because the fans didn’t like her presence on the show. Since then, she has become the host of several successful podcasts, most notably, Two Ts In a Pod with Tamra Judge. She also recently appeared on RHOC.

According to Heavy, Teddi opened up with Tamra on a recent podcast episode of Two Ts in a Pod about filming an emotional scene with her husband while she was still on the show. She even says that if it had aired, it would have ended [them] as a couple. Specifically, she says they were discussing having more kids after production requested that they do so.

According to Teddi, “We start talking about it, and Edwin says the quote, ‘Then you’re going to get big again. Are you okay with that?’”

As most people would be, Teddi says she was highly upset by his comment. She goes on, “I honestly wanted to die in that moment.”

Teddi then shares that she didn’t react the way she wanted to on camera because she wanted to protect their marriage. However, she lit into him once they were in the car after filming the scene.

Teddi says, “Then we got into the [expletive] car, and I was like ‘I am disgusted that you said that. I’m furious that you said that. You embarrassed me, you hurt me. You know my past issues.’ Like all of these things.”

She then discusses being happy it didn’t air.

“Yes, that hurt me, and I’ll remember that forever, but imagine the amount of other women that’s going to hurt when it plays out.”

Fans can listen to Two Ts In a Pod on all podcast platforms.
