Tennessee Titans player shows incredible hustle vs. Saints in attempt to win a roster spot

With NFL cut day looming, the Tennessee Titans preseason finale against the New Orleans Saints presented a number of Titans players on the bubble with an opportunity to prove they belong on the 53-man roster.

Tight end Thomas Odukoya is one player whose status is very much in question. But regardless of what news he gets this week, the 27-year-old left it all on the field in New Orleans.

Odukoya made a big play on special teams and showed some incredible hustle that saved a touchdown.

As the first half was coming to a close, the Titans gave rookie kicker Brayden Narveson a chance to attempt a 58-yard field goal. Narveson left the kick short, and Saints wide receiver Samson Nacua returned it from the back of the end zone.

Nacua broke into the open field and looked as if he was about to take the return 109 yards for a score with no time left on the clock. But Odukoya never gave up on the play. He hustled down the field and forced Nacua out of bounds inside the five yard line. An incredible effort by a guy that clearly wants to prove he has value to the Titans.
