Terrion Arnold spent the weekend working out with a possible Lions draft pick

Anyone who follows Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold on Instagram knows that the guy just never seems to stop working on his game. He is constantly on a field somewhere, putting in time and working on technique.

He's not alone most of the time either. Last week, he and Lions teammate Kerby Joseph were working together with defensive back guru Jacory "1way" Nichols. This weekend, he spent time putting in work with his best friend and possible Lions draft pick Malachi Moore.

The Alabama safety had some really great things to say about his former college teammate Arnold at the NFL Combine in March. He said they were two peas in a pod in Tuscaloosa. He talked about Brian Branch as well. He also talked about how he would love to play with those guys again.

“It would be great to play with my guys Terrion [Arnold] and BB [Brian Branch] on the defensive side of the ball,” Moore said. “We already have that great chemistry, and we come from the same lineage in college football under coach [Nick] Saban.”

It wouldn't be crazy to think that the Lions could feel the same way. As we know, they love players from Alabama. The Lions have drafted at least one guy from there in the last three drafts. Safety is also a need for the team at this point. They could use some depth there.

At this point, Moore is projected to go in the fifth round. The Lions don't have a pick in the fifth at this point, but that could change at any moment, as we know Holmes likes to trade picks. We'll see what happens. Arnold would probably love to reunite with his guy.
