Brees shared heartfelt words at Terron Armstead's retirement event, reflecting on their early days as teammates. "I remember when Terron Armstead first came into our locker room in 2013. He did not start immediately, but it would become evident to all that first year that he was going to be a starting left tackle in our league for a very long time."
He continued, "Not only did that combination of size, speed, strength and athleticism take over, but also the knowledge, leadership and sacrifice brought to that offensive line and to our entire team elevated everything we did on and off the field... Congratulations to Terron on an outstanding career and best of luck in what is sure to be a successful next chapter."

Cam Jordan also shared his thoughts on Armstead's impact, praising the leadership and consistency he brought to the Saints. "Terron was one of those guys you could always count on. From the moment he stepped on the field, he set the tone with his work ethic and how he carried himself."
He added, "He was a true anchor on our line and a leader in the locker room. You knew he was playing through pain sometimes, but he never let it show. That kind of toughness is rare. He'll always be one of the greats in Saints history."
