A recent couple from “The Bachelor” has called it quits, just months after the finale of their season aired. Grant Ellis proposed to Juliana Pasquarosa, and the two suggested they were making plans for the future.
On June 13, however, they revealed their love story had come to an end. “The Bachelor” stars shared separate posts via their Instagram Stories to share the news with fans. Both suggested the split was amicable, with “mutual respect” going both ways between them.
Grant Ellis & Juliana Pasquarosa Confirmed the End of Their Engagement
Ellis and Pasquarosa both shared Instagram Stories revealing they had ended their engagement.
“This is one of the harder things I’ve had to write, but I want to share it honestly,” Ellis began in his post.
He continued, “Juliana and I have decided to end our relationship. We both gave this our best and poured a lot of love into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations, we’ve come to the understanding that we’re simply not the right fit long term.”
In her Instagram Story, Pasquarosa wrote, “It’s a gift to find someone who sees the world in a way that resonates with you, while also encouraging you to grow. I’ve been grateful to share that experience with Grant.”
She added, “Marriage is a commitment, and it’s one we both still believe in deeply. After a lot of honest conversations and reflection, we’ve come to the decision that this chapter of our lives is meant to continue on separate paths.”
Ellis Wrote They Have ‘Love & Respect in Our Hearts’ for One Another
In Ellis’ Instagram Story, he insisted, “There’s no negativity here. No resentment. Just two people who care about each other and want the best for one another moving forward.”
“I’ll always be grateful for what we shared and for the growth that came with it,” Ellis added. He went on to thank everybody who “supported us and believed in our journey.”
Ellis wrapped up his announcement by writing, “This chapter is closing, but we’re both walking away with love and respect in our hearts.”
Pasquarosa noted, “We’re still cheering each other on, just from different places now.”
She also noted she and Ellis shared “something meaningful,” sharing that they showed up for one another “the best we knew how.”
“The Bachelor” winner acknowledged, “While this isn’t the ending we once imagined, it’s one filled with mutual respect, care, and hope for what’s ahead.”
