The biggest dating show franchise in television history is coming back for another season.
ABC has decided to bring “The Bachelor” back for a 30th season after months of no decision being made regarding a continuation.
More Roses to Give
In March 2025, executive producers Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner left the show amid allegations of a toxic work environment.
A new showrunner is set to take the helm for the 30th season: Scott Teti.
Teti also produced ABC’s “Claim to Fame” game show as well as Bravo’s “Summer House” reality show. He also had a hand in the “Married At First Sight” franchise.
While the name is new to the franchise, Teti was previously announced as the showrunner of another “Bachelor” series – “Bachelor in Paradise” – in January.
The newest season of “Bachelor in Paradise” is set to premiere on July 7.
When the 30th season of “The Bachelor” premieres, it’s unknown whether Teti would continue to produce both shows.
Franchise Slowdown
In February 2025, “The Bachelorette” was said to be taking a break this summer. This is against what the franchise usually does as both it typically follows “The Bachelor” a few months after the latter’s finale.
No lead has been set for “The Bachelor” season 30. Season 29’s Grant Ellis gave the last rose to Juliana Pasquarosa. Although the couple ended their engagement in June.
“The Bachelor” season 30 will drop in 2026.
