In an Instagram post, Kelsey revealed the fate of Joey's DWTS trophy, which he won two days before Thanksgiving on November 26. She posted a carousel of photographs and videos from their Thanksgiving trip to New York City, with the caption, "24 hours in NYC. So much to be thankful for." In the pictures and videos, Kelsey and Joey were at the Empire State Building and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The final slide was of Joey pushing luggage and carrying a cardboard box through a rainy New York City street, while Kelsey said, "And we're on the move, trophy in hand. Trophy in box in hand." Joey Appeared On Good Morning America The Morning After His DWTS Win
After Joey and Jenna won DWTS season 33, he and the rest of the Final 5 finalists--Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, and Stephen Nederoscik and Rylee Arnold--appeared on Good Morning America in New York City for the DWTS season 33 Afterparty. Our Take On Joey's DWTS Win & What's Next For Joey & Kelsey
Joey & Kelsey Have Decided To Buy A House In Los Angeles
Although Joey and Kelsey had to travel to New York City for DWTS, they've decided to buy a house in Los Angeles, where they'd been living in an apartment during season 33. Joey's DWTS journey led to him and Kelsey deciding where they want to settle down. It also could lead to even more TV opportunities for Joey and Kelsey in Los Angeles.
Since The Bachelor season 28, Joey has also appeared on 9-1-1 and The Golden Bachelor, Kelsey has been on The Bachelorette and The Golden Bachelorette (because her dad, Mark, was a contestant), and they competed as a couple in a Bachelor Nation-themed episode of Celebrity Family Feud.
It would definitely be exciting to see Joey and Kelsey continue to appear on TV, whether in the reality genre, or even acting. During DWTS, Jenna pointed out that Joey's best dances were when he was playing a character, and they talked about his incredible theatrical side. Whatever happens next, Joey will once again be able to take his DWTS Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy across the country from New York City to Los Angeles, and use it to decorate his new home with his one true love, Kelsey.
