The Last of Us: this is how Ellie and Dina will look in Season 2; fans are worried

Naughty Dog and HBO are still working on Season 2 of The Last of Us, and leaks have been inevitable. This week, new photographs from the set have surfaced, showing Bella Ramsey and Isabela Merced in their roles as Ellie and Dina.

The images immediately caught the attention of players, as they show some interesting details of the new episodes, such as Ellie's tattoos. However, there are fans of The Last of Us: Part II who are worried, as they believe some character details are not well represented.

Ellie continues to raise doubts for Season 2 of The Last of Us

The images show both actresses filming a few scenes for the new episodes in Chinatown, Vancouver, Canada. On one of Ramsey's arms, the iconic tattoos that Ellie has in the sequel can be seen. Fans believe this detail is very well done and expressed their excitement.

However, the production was not spared from criticism. Some people think that Ramsey did an excellent job in the first episodes and are convinced that the same will happen in Season 2. Nevertheless, they believe she still looks too young to portray Ellie from The Last of Us: Part II.

Some believe that Naughty Dog and HBO should have found another actress for the new episodes. Additionally, there are fans worried that Ramsey's hair is too long compared to the game.

Opinions about Isabela Merced are somewhat similar, as some believe she doesn't fully represent Dina. Some fans think that Naughty Dog and HBO should have worked with Cascina Caradonna, the facial model for the character in the game.

As for the set, fans once again praised the work done by the production, as they recreate the post-apocalyptic settings of the franchise very well. Below you can see some of the images showing the actresses:
