Before production began, the Netflix legal drama added more cast members to the mix. In February, it was announced that Emmy-nominated actor Constance Zimmer had joined The Lincoln Lawyer in a prominent role as Dana Berg, and she will serve as a new adversary for Mickey Haller. Per Deadline, new additions to the cast include Fire Country star Jason O'Mara, Superman & Lois' Emmanuelle Chiriquí, and American Soul's Javon Johnson.

Chriqui is set to play Jeanine Ferrigno, described as "the girlfriend of a local gangster who finds herself mixed up in a criminal enterprise, giving her information pivotal to Mickey’s defense." O’Mara will play Jack Gilroythe current boyfriend of Mickey’s ex-wife, Maggie, described as "an orthopedic surgeon who’s fit, tan, and comfortable in his own skin." Johnson will play Carter Gates"a decent, hard-working business owner who’d turned his life around after legal troubles in his youth and now finds himself accused of murder."

Aside from the new additions, who will appear as guest stars in the upcoming season, Elliott Gould will return as David "Legal" Siegel, and Krista Warner will reprise her role as Hayley Haller. The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 will also feature a cameo from world-renowned chef, restaurateur, and owner of Osteria Mozza, Nancy Silverton, as herself.

Tadum recently revealed that The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 began production in Los Angeles. Following Season 3's cliffhanger, several characters are expected to return in the upcoming installment. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is officially returning as Mickey Haller, as well as Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), Angus Sampson (Cisco), and Neve Campbell (Maggie McPherson).

What To Expect From The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4

At the end of Season 3, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo's Mickey Haller was pulled over, and police found the body of a client in the trunk of his Lincoln. The new season will have the defense lawyer working on his most important case as he has to defend himself as he goes on trial for murder. He will go up against Dana Berg (Zimmer), the prosecutor on the case, who also has ties to his ex-wife, Maggie.

"Well, the biggest cliffhanger of all is 'What is going to happen to Mickey?' and that one certainly plays out across the whole season in the form of his trial," co-executive producer and co-showrunner Ted Humphrey said of the new season. "In the first episode you’ll understand at least the broad strokes of what specifically has happened and what charges - and adversaries - Mickey is facing. This is going to be the biggest and most personal challenge Mickey has ever faced, and also the biggest roller coaster we’ve yet taken our audience on."

The legal drama is based on Michael Connelly's book series about the titular Los Angeles' defense attorney. Sasha Alexander (The Morning Show, Shameless) also joined the show as FBI Agent Dawn Ruth. Season 4, which is said to consist of 10 episodes, will cover The Law of Innocence, the sixth book in the series.
