Months after the 35-year-old star of Bravo’s The Valley moved out of the 3,765-square-foot property, which she and Jax, 45, purchased in May 2019 just weeks before they wed, the California Franchise Tax Board filed a $35,239.88 lien against her.

In court documents obtained by the Daily Mail on July 17, it was confirmed that the lien was filed against Brittany on June 12, 2024, and that until the lien is paid off, “further interest and fees will accrue.”

As fans may know, Brittany vacated the Valley Village home, which is located in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley, earlier this year as she and Jax separated after four years of marriage. She then moved into an Airbnb nearby. Since then, they have been co-parenting their three-year-old son, Cruz, from two different residences.

While appearing on an episode of the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast in April, Brittany opened up about their finances, saying that Jax “pays the mortgage” on their home and that she pays “all the bills” — even though she “put down as much money” as Jax to buy it.

Earlier this week, five months into his and Brittany’s separation, Jax told TMZ that he misses his family “a lot.”

“Brittany and I are separated, and we’re just trying to figure it out. I don’t know what you want to call it,” he admitted, adding that he was not dating but was unsure if he wanted to reconcile with Brittany.

Brittany has also opened up about their split, telling the Daily Mail, “It was just kind of like taking up for myself.”

“Having a child really woke me up and lifted a veil a little bit of what I deserve and what I am going to put up with for the rest of my life. And I just knew that I had to … figure out what I want to do for my future and make things a super positive living situation for my son. That’s all that I care about,” she explained.

Brittany declined the Daily Mail’s request for comment concerning the lien.
