We shared the Daryl Dixon season 3 official synopsis, via AMC:
Season 3 follows Daryl Dixon (Reedus) and Carol Peletier (McBride) as they continue their journey to somehow return home and to the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.
There have been no announcements of returning characters from season 2, as many perished or set off on their own journeys. Many fans hope to find out what happened to Ash and Laurent, who were last seen taking off in a plane from France bound for the US. The plan was to take Laurent to the Commonwealth to keep him safe. Will they ever make it? Or will they, too, find their way to Spain?
Zable will continue to helm the series as showrunner and executive producer with Reedus, McBride, Gimple, Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival, and Steve Squillante. Silvia Aráez and Jesús de la Vega from Ánima Stillking will also executive produce the series.
