Along with the announcement, it was revealed that Carol and Daryl would be heading to Spain in the upcoming season, and that filming would begin before the end of 2024's summer season. True to their word, filming began on Daryl Dixon season 3 in early September 2024, and wrapped in the early weeks of 2025.
