The closer Dead City gets to its Season 2 finale, the more it looks like this story won't be over quite yet. Maggie's son, Hershel, is gearing up to be the next villain and the personal thorn in her side, making his betrayal the worst in The Walking Dead history since Shane stabbed Rick in the back. Negan still has a ways to go before Maggie can fully trust him, but with her allies dropping like flies, she could use all the help she can get. Then there are the mysterious cases of the Croat and Bruegel, one man getting excessively tired of being treated like a kicked puppy, and the other looking for any opportunity to gain more power. Who will break whose trust? Viewers will have to find out in Season 2, Episode 5, "The Bird Always Knows."

Maggie and Perlie Get in Hot Water With Narvaez
Meanwhile, Negan Attempts to Recruit the Last Manhattan Gang
Season 2, Episode 4, "Feisty Friendly," ended with yet another shot of Central Park. This time, it's Bruegel overlooking the area, pondering over the possibilities that live in the park. But this would surely mean abandoning his recently made alliance with the Croat and the Dama. But then again, Negan did make an awful embarrassment of Bruegel by blackmailing him into submission. Maybe he'll take a different approach in his meeting with Christos in Season 2, Episode 5.
Speaking of, let's check in with Maggie and Negan. The two have reunited, and it feels… not so good. Things were relatively friendly, with Negan giving Maggie the location of the methane production station but also revealing that Hershel has been working for the Dama behind Maggie's back. Meanwhile, Narvaez has learned from Ginny that Negan's still alive, putting Perlie in big trouble with New Babylon. Maggie and Perlie might as well start packing now for the mainland, because there's nowhere safe for them in Manhattan.
