The Washington Commanders will have a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins

   

First confirmed joint practice under Dan Quinn

Miami Dolphins Head Coach Mike McDaniel said they would be having one joint practice with the Washington Commanders before they play a preseason game. Washington is visiting Miami in the second week of the 3-week preseason. McDaniel also said the Dolphins would joint practices with their other preseason opponents, the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Commanders open the preseason with an away game vs another AFC East opponents, traveling to New Jersey to face the New York Jets. They finish the preseason with a home game against the New England Patriots. Dan Quinn said that his views on joint practices had changed, and he now sees a real value in holding them before preseason games. He was planning on working out the details for joint practices after the schedule came out, and we’ve now got our first report on Washington participating in them.
