Who’s the hardest offseason worker on the Bucs?
Todd Bowles has an answer.
Joe simply asked Bowles today what he saw on film from Chris Godwin in yesterday’s opening day of training camp.
Bowles had plenty to say and noted that Godwin is king of offseason preparation.
“Chris looked good. Chris looked good. I think he’s leaner,” Bowles said. “I don’t think he’s lost weight. I think he’s leaner. He’s quick. I think he’s finally healthy and he looks great. I mean, the work he puts in in the offseason is unmatched. The work he puts in, the way he came into camp right now and the way he’s picking up the system has been great.”
Joe asked Godwin if he did anything different this summer in his preparation. Godwin replied that he changes up his routines every year to stay fresh.
He also told assembled media that he feels significantly healthier this summer, his third following major knee surgery.
