Theresa Nist Gives an Update on Her Dating Life and Teases a New Relationship

Bachelor Nation fans saw Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist get engaged and then married on the very first season of “The Golden Bachelor.”

Sadly, the two ultimately decided to end their relationship, but they are still supportive of each other and wish the best for one another.

Recently, Gerry hard-launched his new relationship online. And now, it seems like Theresa is also dating again, as she just gave a new update on her dating life. 

During her interview on the “Almost Famous” podcast, Theresa teased she’s in a new relationship while explaining why she decided to not go on “Bachelor in Paradise.”

She said, “I absolutely do want to be in a relationship and whether or not I’m in one right now, I’m not prepared to discuss.”

Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti then followed up and asked, true or false, if Theresa is in a romantic relationship or dating someone, and Theresa said, “True.” 

They then asked the Golden Bachelor Nation star how many dates she’s been on with this mystery person, and Theresa laughed, saying, “Several...You guys give really probing questions. You’re so good!” 

Ashley also laughed and then asked Theresa if she would consider this person her boyfriend, to which she answered, “Not yet.” 

She then revealed how they met and shared, “It was through a dating website.” 

Theresa also shared more about why she decided to not go on “Bachelor in Paradise,” in addition to finding a new relationship. 

“I kind of thought it just wasn’t really for me, and I really was so enthusiastic about it when it first came out,” she reflected. “I was talking about who I’d be interested in, and then I realized that I was really just excited about seeing the women and having a reunion and having a vacation with them. So I thought that wasn’t fair to make it about that, and I really didn’t want to go on and pretend or just make up something or make an alliance. And I thought I’d be much better off just watching it.”
