Not much went right for the Tennessee Titans in 2024. The team finished with an NFL-worst 3-14 record and now holds the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Many mock drafts have the Titans using that pick to draft a quarterback, which is a referendum on Will Levis. The 2023 second-round pick had a rough season, throwing for 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
It's highly unlikely he's the long-term starting quarterback for the Titans but they may not even find one in the draft. If they don't like their options in the draft, they could select somebody like Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter.
If that happens, the Titans may address their quarterback elsewhere. Bleacher Report's James Palmer believes Tennessee could be a logical landing spot for New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
"I had heard during the week, Nashville come up a few different ways," Palmer said on a Monday livestream. "I think the reason why Nashville is coming up, and him possibly signing with the Titans is this: Yes, he does live there, that's one part of it.
"Two, if the Titans are open to trading back, or don't want one of these top two quarterbacks, whether it's Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders ... if they do come to the conclusion that they'd like to move out of that first spot, and somebody really does love one of these two quarterbacks, and they can get a haul, Mike Borgonzi, their new GM, is looking to build this new roster, and looking at the 2026 Draft. ... So then Aaron could be, essentially, that bridge. He'd obviously be better than Will Levis, played actually good football during the backend of the season ... I don't know how many options Aaron Rodgers is going to have, so I think that may be an option on the table, for sure."
