For years, former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady terrorized the New York Jets and their fans. Brady held a 31-8 record against the Jets.
While some Jets fans may still hold animosity against Brady for his days in New England, the seven-time Super Bowl champion has a different tune when mentioning the Jets.

Appearing on the “Roommates Show” on Saturday, Brady was asked about Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Perhaps surprisingly, the former Patriots quarterback had nothing but positive things to say about the four-time NFL MVP – and the Jets as a team.
“I’m really excited for what he’s [Rodgers] about to undertake, shortly, going into the season. I think you have those injuries, they put a lot of things in perspective for you when you have them. I want to see the fire that he’s got when he goes out there on the field and how he chooses to lead the team this year,” Brady said of Rodgers.
The former Jet nemesis concluded by assuring, “It’s going to be an exciting year for the Jet fans.”
Considering how last year went for the Jets, it’s safe to say that there are a lot of expectations for the team entering this season. Hearing assurance of an “exciting year” from Brady, of all people, only adds to those expectations.
Despite positive words from Brady and others, analysts around the NFL have had mixed thoughts about the Jets entering 2024. However, Brady, a notorious student of the game and perhaps the greatest quarterback of all time, believes in the Jets. That should give a little bit of hope to even the most pessimistic of Jets fans.
