The San Francisco 49ers suffered through a rough 2024 season. When all was said and done, they missed the playoffs and only mustered up a 6-11 record.

Trent Williams certainly wasn't happy with that finish. Neither were the rest of the 49ers.
Already, the star offensive lineman has made a change compared to recent years. Williams has decided to show up for voluntary workouts.
As shared by Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle, Williams decided to join the team rather than work out in Texas, which is what he has usually done.
"Trent Williams, who usually trains in Texas during the offseason, reported to Santa Clara last week for the start of Phase 1," he wrote.

Seeing that kind of commitment and leadership from one of the seasoned veterans will help set the tone for a bounce-back season.
Fans instantly started commenting on the news about Williams. His presence with the team has clearly brought excitement for a team that badly needed it.
"Ring season if all our draft picks work out and a couple sophomores make some moderate to big jumps," one fan wrote.
A second fan commented, "Big Trent got the best nickname in the NFL, Silverback. Ain’t nobody messing with him."
"I think he knows he has some making up to do with The Faithful. This is a big step in the right direction," another comment said.
A fourth comment read, "Good. I wondered how much his holdout last season contributed to his injuries late in the season. Conditioning is a critical part of playing in the NFL!"
Williams and San Francisco have a lot of work to do to get back into Super Bowl contention. Showing up early is a great look for him.
