Trevon Diggs makes indisputable argument about rising Cowboys' playmaker ahead of 2024 NFL season

Debating top players in the NFL has almost become a chore.

You will see argument after argument, and each one will have a different top five, each one with a different rationale.

One thing you can't debate is production.

That is one thing that Cowboys rising star, DaRon Bland has on his resumé.

Since entering the league in 2022, Bland has had 14 interceptions, with five of them being returned for touchdowns.

Bland made history and vaulted himself into the Defensive Player of the Year conversation last season.

Blands' historic season came at a crucial time for the Cowboys, as their All-Pro corner, Trevon Diggs would go down with a torn ACL.

And it did not go unnoticed.

Bland would go on to earn First-Team All-Pro honors himself, as well as being selected to his first Pro Bowl.

He put the world on notice.

And now his teammates are putting the world on notice about giving him the respect he deserves.

Trevon Diggs would recently tweet this.

This is a bold statement, but one that has a valid base behind it.

Some of the other corners in the same draft as DaRon Bland were Derek Stingley, Ahamd "Sauce" Gardner, and Trent McDuffie.

Only one has more post-season honors in Gardner, but Bland also has 12 more interceptions than him and 5 more touchdowns. The only pass defense trait that Sauce has more than Bland is pass deflections, where Sauce has 31 compared to Blands' 22.

It is clear that Bland and Gardner are the two best corners from their draft, now it becomes a question of what do you value more.
